Make it Rain

Drought Relief Fundraiser

Dashville are hosting a number of free events this weekend in drought affected areas to help support our farmers. All of the profits are going to the Country Womens Association who will then disperse all the funds.

You can catch Ben Leece, Jason Walker, Lyle Dennis Express, Lyle Dennis Express, Adam Young, Katie Brianna and Magpie Diaries at the Muswellbrook Hotel on Friday 2nd November, and at the Terminus Hotel in Quirindi on Saturday.

If you can’t make it on weekend, don’t worry! Early last month popular Hunter Valley Festival, Dashville Skyline put together an incredible collection of music from artists performing at the festival, with 100% of sales going straight to NSW farmers. Make it Rain is a whopping 40-song, two CD compilation of Dashville Skyline’s world-class roster, you can purchase it here.

Some small rains have fallen over the outer regions of NSW over the last few weeks. It was a nice short-term relief to an otherwise devastating situation. There is an entire season lost due to drought and the flow on effect will be felt for sometime.

Buckling under the weight of the major supermarkets and the worst drought we’ve seen in 50 years, Australia’s farmers are doing it tough, real tough.
