Museum of Magic

The history of magic as an art form has been shrouded in mystery in order to protect its secrets, often being handed down verbally from magician to magician. But in this secret museum of Sydney, this history of wonder and knowledge comes to life.

The Australian Museum of Magical Arts is set within the secret walls and corridors of The Magicians Cabaret Theatre. Through personal objects, photos and films, personal mementos, secret plans, books and artefacts, you can learn about the mind of a magician and the fascinating role magic has played in cultures. You may even be asked to jump into a trap door or the sawing woman in half illusion!

This museum may be small, but it is packed with information and inspiration. Not just about revealing secrets. By discovering the role magic has played in movies, in war, even in history, you will also experience not just wonder but the beauty of imagination.

Bookings essential.

Fun Juggling Class

Learn to juggle in a fun and self-paced workshop, in the beautiful surrounds of Centennial Park – or a location of your choice.

Juggling has many benefits, including sharpening focus and concentration and being a method of stress-relief. It maintains and increases range of motion in the arms and shoulders, improves coordination, wards off food cravings, and it’s an exercise that doesn’t feel like exercise.

Juggling is like riding a bike. The basics can be a little tricky to grasp (hence the need for this class), but once you’ve got the basic techniques down, you’ll be able to continue your juggling journey easily.

You’ll have the opportunity to join and have access to the facility for future printing.

This class is ideal for those seeking a new skill or refreshing old skills, making handmade gifts, starting your own business, making your own band merch and for those just interested in a creative way to pass time.
