Arts Wednesday 24 July 2019
At 10:40 am, it’s time for Part 2 of Birds and Bones with Dr Jacqueline Nguyen, ornithologist at the Australian Museum and this week the topic is songbirds and where they came from.
At 11:00 am, I’m pleased to welcome back to Arts Wednesday, Elise Edmunds, Senior Curator at the State Library of NSW, talking about the latest exhibition, Dead Central. The Devonshire St Cemetery was located exactly on the spot where Central Railway is today and the story reflects the reality of the early development of the little convict settlement at Sydney Cove to the thriving metropolis it would become.
Music is about graves and trains.
I look forward to your company!
