Mango Loco Mural: Bondi Beach

To celebrate the long-awaited return of Mango Loco in Australia and with Halloween right around the corner, a pair of controversially loud murals have been created by leading street artist Sarah McCloskey in the heart of Sydney’s CBD and Bondi Beach.

The Bondi Beach Mural artwork kick-starts on August 15 on the corner of Gould Street and Curlewis Street in Bondi Beach, metres from the iconic Australian beach.

Artist lovers and Mango Loco fans alike are urged to check out the pieces that will be live for 4 weeks.

1) Cnr of York St & Wynard St (Spanning 3mx7m)

2) Curlewis St, Bondi Beach (Spanning 3mx5.5m)

The Monster Energy Ambassador team will be handing out samples of Monster Energy Mango Loco in the area for the duration of the activation. Keep a lookout for the Monster Truck!

Centennial Foodlands

Centennial Parklands is a haven for food-lovers with a diverse range of food and beverage options for visitors to enjoy.
To celebrate this foodie haven, we’re dedicating the month of September to the Parklands’ food offering and calling it Centennial Foodlands!

Get the inside scoop on all the food related celebrations that are happening in the Parklands during the month. We hope you can join us and sample some of the delicious delicacies being served up in the Parklands.

Peaches and Prunes

A hi-fidelity dance party for music lovers played through a vintage, fully analogue, audiophile sound system. Dance to a wide range of deep, soulful & uplifting music, taking in funk, soul, jazz, boogie, fusion, electronica and with an emphasis on disco and deep house as our dance and musical journey progresses.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:

Inspired by The Loft and Beauty & The Beat: Peaches & Prunes started in February 2018 as a series of private dance parties in an inner-west warehouse. Norm De Plume and JP Ducharne carefully curate eclectic DJ sets with an emphasis on disco and deep house. They play vinyl only while the depth and clarity of their audiophile sound system creates an immersive experience. They strive for inclusivity and a community feel on their dance floor. Norm De Plume is DJ and deep house producer from London. JP Ducharne co-hosts Classic Album Sundays in Sydney.

Paper Tigers

Paper Tigers includes posters, prints and ephemera from a range of both celebrated and anonymous artists and designers.

The exhibition presents a snapshot of a period when vibrant and experimental creative production incited social action.

Paper Tigers also feature works from the National Art School (NAS) Collection.
