Meet three directors from the Darlinghurst Theatre Company’s 2020 season

All three directors came to their directorial careers from different disciplines of the theatre, and each brings their individual talents to next year’s season of productions at the Eternity Theatre.

Amy Campbell directs A Chorus Line

Acclaimed choreographer Amy Campbell not only directs the landmark musical, A Chorus Line,  but also rethinks the choreography to reflect the dance styles and the struggles of an artist in the 21st century.

Shaun Rennie directs the Australian premier of Amelie (the musical)

Shaun Rennie transitioned seamlessly from acting to directing and now he’s preparing the Australian premier of Amelie (the musical), a mesmerising blend of musical theatre, puppetry and illusion.

Season runs 2 July – 9 August. Book here.

Alexander Berlage directs Let the Right One In

Having forged his theatrical career as an award winning lighting designer, Alexander Berlage is well placed to direct this supernatural thriller, Let the Right One In. Expect to see vampires and plenty of blood.
