ARTS WEDNESDAY 1 SEPTEMBER 2010

Jonathan James will present Now Showing at about 9:45 am and Andrew Shapiro returns at 10:10 am for a brand new series of New Antiques.

My special guest this week is Katie Dyer, curator of Primavera, which just opened at MCA. This is an exhibition I really look forward to each year, firstly  because I love to see what is engaging young artists. I also love the fact that each year a new curator is chosen, so the take on Primavera can alter dramatically from year to year. I look forward to asking Katie about her selection criteria and also the artists she selected for Primavera 2010.

Because we will be featuring all Australian artists, I thought we might listen to all Australian musicians, but  not all of them are under 35 as per the Primavera requirements!
