Eclectique 11:09:10
Just the 18 different sports finals to contend with for potential listeners to this weeks show, but most games were finished with right on the buzzer that brought in the Eclectique show. The Sheik managed to produce a show of ‘Finals’ quality, even though he claimed he had “no eyesight for the first 30 mins” having used it up in the two hours previous. As usual, there were winners and losers, and “as usual the Kiwis won and we lost” but it wasn’t that loss that hurt most, “The Sheik ran out of puff at the Port Macquarie horse races on Friday, after leading most of the way”. “But like the good lord may or may have not said, it’s better to have hit the front and lost, than to never have hit the front at all”
Amen
