SIMA CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY WITH THE SHANNON BARNETT TRIO & FETHERSTONE @ THE NEWSAGENCY IN CAMPERDOWN
SIMA celebrates International Women’s Day with a special double bill featuring one of Australia’s greatest jazz exports, Germany based trombonist Shannon Barnett in trio with multi-award winning pianist Andrea Keller and National Jazz Award winning bassist Sam Anning.
The intimate and very funky surrounds of the Newsagency in Camperdown are a particularly appropriate venue for this celebration, as it is one of the few music venues owned and operated by a woman in Alison Flett – a passionate supporter of live music in Sydney.

Opening the night will be another superb international group in Fetherstone, who have recently relocated from London and feature the acclaimed vocalist Briana Cowlishaw.
