Jessie Tu was a professional violinist for 15 years, studied law, did a stint teaching and is now a full-time writer, with prize-winning poetry under her belt and a debut novel – A Lonely Girl is a Dangerous Thing. She is a journalist with Women’s Agenda and has just been appointed one of two new literary critics for the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age. Frankly, she’s awesome!
