The last known Tasmanian Tiger named Benjamin died in captivity in 1936. Researchers have reconstructed the genome sequence of the thylacine, meaning that it may be feasible to bring back Benjamin’s relatives sometime within the next decade.

Drive Tuesday talks with Professor Andrew Pask, who is leading a research team at the University of Melbourne to bring back the apex marsupial predator.
