ARTS WEDNESDAY 16 MARCH 2011
Rhona Clement will present the 5th and final episode of All Fired Up at about 9:45 am while Ed Lippmann presents the last in our current series of Sydney By Design at about 10:10 am.
Two special guests make a welcome return to Arts Wednesday: photographer Petrina Hicks, whose exhibition Beautiful Creatures, is currently showing at Stills Gallery and Bronwyn Rennex, Deputy Director of the gallery. Conversation with Petrina will be about her work while Bronwyn will discuss the fabulous new book, Anne Marsh’s much anticipated publication Look: Contemporary Australian Photography since 1980. It is the largest book ever published on Australian contemporary photography, representing over 190 artists, surveying and recording the significant historical changes to the art of the photographic image and process. The book will be launched by distinguished photographer Julie Rrapp at the gallery at 6:30 pm and listeners to Arts Wednesday are cordially invited to attend.
Music this week will be from the great Broadway musicals!
One more thing: for those who missed the interview with Rabbi Zalman Kastel and Sheik Haisam Farrache, it is posted on the Together For Humanity website: www.togetherforhumanity.org.au
As always I look forward to your company!
