An event that might be of interest to listeners is the National Young Writers’ Festival. Launched at the Emerging Writers’ Festival, National Young Writers’ Month is over June, and it’s a month of writing workshops and festivals being run around Australia. Next Thursday, The NSW Writers’ Centre is holding a festival for young writers from 11am-4:30pm. The day features readings, workshops, panels and interviews with the guys from Vibewire, Voiceworks, Penguin Plays Rough and Hungry Beast, just to name a few of the guests.
