ARTS WEDNESDAY 6 JULY 2011

Ed Lippmann returns this week at about 10:40 am for part 2 of this series of Sydney By Design , where our focus will be on Barangaroo.

At 11:00 am I will be joined in the studio by Libby Christie (pictured), making a welcome return to Arts Wednesday. Last time she was Managing Director

of the Sydney Symphony but since April 2009, she has been the Executive Director of Arts Funding at the Australia Council. This is a position of great interest

to all artists and arts lovers and I look forward to our conversation.

Of all the new music I played last week, I did love tracks by the female singers – Yasmin Levy and Jorinde Jelen, so I’ll play more from them as well as  other favourites.
