RSPCA Cupcake Day 2011

This bakeoff helps to support the services of the RSPCA.

By participating and online fundraising for RSPCA Cupcake Day, you will be actively assisting the RSPCA to continue their operations, programs and services, as well as supporting our daily battle to stop animal cruelty.

The RSPCA is the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, a non-profit, community based charity that works to prevent cruelty to animals by actively promoting their care and protection.

When: Monday, August 15, 2011 (However, you can hold the event on any day throughout August).

Where: Wherever you choose to have your event:

  • School
  • Work
  • Home

Cost: A tray of Cupcake and the donations you receive from them

Balls & Giggles is a SOCIAL netball organisation where women of all abilities can play in a professionally managed daytime netball league. Matches are held during the working day (between 10am and 3pm) with Child Minding available. Our commitment is to offer an exceptional service that is accessible, convenient and tailored to your needs!

The 2011 Garden Awards

Nominations are now open for the 2011 Garden Awards.

Randwick City Council’s annual Garden Awards are now open for nominations.  We are calling for vibrant gardens to be nominated by their proud owners in one of nine categories including best:

  • residential gardennative
  • gardenschool
  • gardenenvironmentally friendly gardencommunity
  • gardenprofessionally maintained garden
  • and nature strip; in each suburb.

When: Aug 1 2011 – Aug 26 2011 (Judging will commence early September and the awards presentation will take place at Council’s Ecoliving Fair on Sunday 18 September 2011).
