Volunteer For Fringe Festival 2011

The Fringe Festival is an open access arts festival offering a platform for independent practitioners across all creative genres to present their work in an environment of artistic freedom.

The Sydney Fringe has carved its home in the Inner West as a project of the Newtown Entertainment Precinct, where there is the highest concentration of independent theatres and live performance spaces in Sydney – and the home of more working artists than any other community in Australia.

Beyond this central precinct, The Sydney Fringe Empire now extends to a number of far-flung city outposts, including Parramatta, Leichhardt and Oxford Street.

Volunteers will be able to assist with various activities including:

Opening night

The Fringe box office

Bar staff at The Fringe Club

The busking program

Front of house at Show venues and Visual Arts venues

Guerilla Marketing

When: Volunteer now for events between September 9 – October 2
