Something Else 18th August

Today Justine will be speaking with pre-eminent Australian poet Pam Brown, who will also read some of her poems for us.

Since 1971, Pam Brown has published fifteen books, seven chapbooks, and an e-book. Her most recent title, Authentic Local, was published by papertiger media’s Soi3 Modern Poets in 2010. She has also written reviews, articles, and for theatre and film. She has been a poetry editor for magazines and independent small presses and is currently associate editor for Jacket2, Polari, and Rubric online magazines. Until 2007 she spent sixteen years engaging in the pleasures of classification as an employee in the life sciences library at the University of Sydney. Pam lives in Alexandria, Sydney and blogs intermittently at thedeletions.blogspot.com
