On the first Spirit House of 2012, a tribute to Sam Rivers. 4 tracks from his classic Blue Note albums from the 1960s. Following Sam, tracks from the new albums by Nicole Mitchell, Roscoe Mitchell (re-issue of early tracks from his career), the Taylor Ho Bynum Sextet, Roil, and the wonderful improv group Silencers.
