This Thursday Eastside Live at 505 is going to be the night to remember this year! On 9th February Venue 505 will be packed full with Eastside Radio talent including Lloyd Swanton, Matt McMahon, Toby Hall, Dan Barnett, Bob Bertles, Lilly Dior, Susan Gai Dowling, Helen Fenton, Taline Kalaidjian, John Hibbard, Jullian Curwin, Paula Langlands and Chris Horsey to name a few!
This will be an Eastside Radio exclusive event, with world-renowned artists performing together for one night only. Double Dip will feature your favourite Eastside Radio personalities stepping outside their comfort zones, playing one tune from their repertoire and one from a completely different genera.
See Lily Dior sing Patsy Clien, Susan Gai Dowling sing Country, Helen Fenton sing Disco and Taline Kalaidjian sing Jazz! Old favourites will also be sung along with ‘all in’ style medleys. See Eastside Radio personalities like never before, with an exciting atmosphere and a backing band that dreams are made of.
Lloyd Swanton (The Necks, the catholics) will be on bass with Matt McMahon (winner ‘International Jazz Award and Freedom Jazz Fellowship) on piano. Dan Barnett (Dan Barnett Big Band) will be on trombone and vocals with Bob Bertles (Australian Jazz Orchestra, Bob Bertles Quintet) on Sax.
Double Dip will be packed full of surprises, including a Tap Dance performance from founding Tap Dogs member and Eastside Radio Friday Arts presenter Chris Horsey.
February 9th will bring everything you love about Eastside Radio together in the cosy jazz venue 505. Come early to grab a great seat and have a delicious bite to eat beforehand!
