A Taste Of Honey Feb 2nd 2012

When I plan my shows for each week, its always a question of “not what do I put in?” BUT “what do I leave out?” and as Yul Brynner so aptly put it,from the movie ‘The King and I’….”IS A PUZZLEMENT!”…but its fun….. and finding a great Dorothy Dandridge track(pic.left) (she of Carmen Jones “” stardom) and the ever listenable recordings from album “Genius Loves Company”(pic.right)doesn’t really help…..someone misses out…not the listener because the tracks that don’t make it one week go into a file of tracks for subsequent weeks and everybody wins….no shortage of repertoire to share with you.
