Come to historic Customs House for a night of murder, suicide, hangings, haunting and ghosts – spooky and gruesome tales direct from The Rocks. Hear the untold stories of the real haunted history of this area in this special spooky evening brought to you by The Rocks Ghost Tours.

Mango Balloon at Venue 505

The Mango Balloon was developed in 2010 by Julian Curwin, leader of The Tango Saloon, and a member of Monsieur Camembert and The Fantastic Terrific Munkle. Essentially a stripped-back chamber version of The Tango Saloon, the band is lighter and more laid back, with a style adding lounge, exotica and jazz to the larger band’s tango/western blend. The band is currently working on two new albums, and this gig will see the debut airing of some of their new pieces.

Emmanuel Santos on Observances: A Global Study of the Jewish Diaspora  

Internationally acclaimed photographer and writer, Emmanuel Santos, who specialises in ethnological photography and creating social documentary photo essays, provides some insights in the exhibition Observances, a collection from the Jewish Diaspora reflecting communal life, celebrations, cultural rituals and practices. The exhibition is about condition, about freedom and dignity.

When: March 14th – July 15th, open Sun-Thurs 10 am – 4 pm, Friday 10 am – 2pm

Second Hand Sunday in Paddington

Do you consider yourself a bargain hunter? Head down to Paddington for ‘Second Hand Sunday’ this Sunday 18th March. It is a popular community event held in the Paddington area that encourages residents to hold garage sales and sell their unwanted, pre-loved goods and reduce waste going to landfill. Climate Justice and Food Security Talk

The Pacific Island of Tuvalu has major problems around the issues of climate change and food sustainability. Taukiei Kitara, an indigenous Tuvaluan, and Russ Grayson, a member of the Sydney Food Fairness Alliance, share their stories on climate justice and food security.
