Lisa Hilton – American Impressions

Pianist and composer Lisa Hilton independently produced and released her latest album American Impressions. The album presents a simple but deep voyage into classic piano jazz, along with the aid of J.D. Allen on Sax, Larry Grenadier on Bass and Nasheet Waits on drums. A beautiful new traditional jazz release.

David Ades – A Glorious Uncertainty

Sydneysider David Ades has spent much of his career in New York, where he says that much of his musical style has been absorbed from the Harlem scene. His new album is an intense and astract jazz release that occasionally ventures in melancholia.

Bullhorn – Bullhorn

Bullhorn are an 8 piece brass funk band that only formed in June last year. This is their self titled independently produced debut album and features original compositions and covers from the likes of Bonobo, Radiohead and the Quantic Soul Orchestra, all of which have been given a funk twist.
