Deep Blues – Playlist April 12, 2012

Selected & Presented by Peter McCallum
in the Deep Blues drivers seat on the second Thursday of every month
Aired 12th of April 2012 on Eastside Radio 89.7Fm
8-9.30pm

In this weeks set we drifted in and out of the Mississippi Delta, spent a little while in Chicago and Baron Alder dropped into to the studio to present a “Brit Blues” set. Baron will be in the Deep Blues chair on the 4th Thursday of every month.

We got a couple of tracks in from Big Mama Thornton but somehow missed Keb Mo – I’ll  just have to make up for that!

My next set will be based on the music and influences of J.B.Lenoir (1929-1967) will go to air May 10.

Big Mama let's rip
