The Tango Saloon – Shadows & Fog

Eastside Radio’s album of the week is Shadows & Fog by The Tango Saloon.

The Tango Saloon are best known for their individual blend of tango and spaghetti western sounds along with elements of jazz, rock, gypsy and electronic music.

Shadows & Fog is the third album from the 10 piece Sydney based band and is their first release since 2008’s Transylvania. This release sees the group step aside slightly from their tango roots, and foray into a film noir styled score.

Featuring guest vocals from Elana Stone, Shadows & Fog hooks you in and leads you down a dark and cabalistic path, conjuring images of dimly lit alleyways lurking with mysterious characters, foggy midnight streets and edgy untrustworthy bandits. A vivid and intriguing album, Shadows & Fog leaves you beguiled and stirred.

Shadows & Fog is a release by Romero Records. For more information go to www.thetangosaloon.com
