SPIRIT HOUSE: Emanem, the improv label that keeps on giving

This week Spirit House features two new releases from the wonderful and legendary Emanem label, specialising in improv music, mainly from the UK. Daylight By John Butcher (sax) & Mark Sanders (percussion); and Haste by Veryan Weston (piano), Ingrid Laubrock (sax), and Hannah Marshall (cello). Martin Davidson has been running the Emanem label for more than 35 years, releasing music by many of the greats in today’s improvisation scene. Google Emanem.
