Jazz parade, La Toosh and Moonlight Jazz!

This weekend come and join Eastside FM as well as some great performers at the Jazz and Blues Festival! Be at the Convention Centre Forecourt on Saturday at 9 sharp with your instrument and you too can walk in the parade. If you want to know more click here!

After all that performing stop off at Australia’s debut crepe cafe La Toosh and experience a slice of urban gypsy glamour from the mobile entertainment venue. Not only are La Toosh offering delicious food, but they’re also hosting a number of great jazz bands such as The Cope Street Parade, The Rescue Ships, Fromage A Trios and heaps more! Held daily from 11AM to 5PM be sure to get in early for a great view, as well as some mouth watering crepes!

After such a great day the only way to wind down is Moonlight Jazz in the Chinese Garden. Tickets are $15 at the door, available from 6PM. Performances are held every half hour from 7:30 to 8:30, so there’s no need to worry about missing out! There will be four musical cameos made by award winning performers such as Phil Slater on trumpet, James Waples on Asian percussion, Jeremy Rose on saxophone as well as a number of others.

Not only will there be amazing music, there will also be some stunning visual installations and sound art brought to you by Ben Carey and James Walker.

And of course come and see us at our very own stall in Tumbalong Park, talking jazz! Find out about what we’re doing next and all about some great gigs we’re holding!  Don’t just take our word for it, make sure you check out Darling Harbour’s Jazz and Blues festival on this long weekend, hope to see you there!
