Sharing ideas at Montessori East
Eastside Radio has teamed up with non-profit organization Little & LOUD International and Creative Producer Carli Leimbach to bring you Stories From The Mouth during Radiothon week.
Stories From The Mouth is an online, digital story telling project that connects children across the globe through listening to and telling stories from the imagination. The project was inspired by a recent trip to East Timor where producer Carli Leimbach volunteered at the Dominican Orphanage in Dili. There she was asked to tell the children stories: It was what they loved the most. Stories From The Mouth was designed to support children in creating stories and sharing their own.
Working with the staff and students of Montessori East in Bondi the Stories From The Mouth team recorded six original stories for broadcast, all written and told by the students themselves.
Tune in to Drive Monday to Friday at 5:55pm during Radiothon week (24th -30th June) to hear the students from Montessori East bring you their Stories From The Mouth.
