Deep Blues – Playlist July 12, 2012

Quite a few tracks this week from Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf who recorded the album pictured here with Chess records, seem to have made a theme over the last few shifts of the Chess recordings, but I guess you get that when you have a brand new boxed set! -lucky me – and you cuz thats what I have put to air on this shift of Deep Blues, hope y’all enjoyed it.

The Chess box set I am referring to is “The Chess Story 1947-1975” comprising 14 CD’s ranging from Delta Blues, Chicago Blues, Soul & early Rock’n Roll – I think we covered most of those genre in this shift.
