A Taste of Honey August 2 2012

Great looking women singing great songs- always a big chance of success BUT then as a music marketing man getting the look just right to have the male fans won over and then get their WAGs on side too is always a delicate balance-Hilary Kole(pic left) and Jane Monheit(pic right) have the balance right and they choose the right music…just a couple of standout artistes for you Honey Tasters to listen to and enjoy. While its easy to be snobby about “Nashville” no one can deny the impact of ‘Gentleman’ Jim Reeves on the global music community from the 50’s through to the late ’80s(following his untimely death 48 years ago today)- and its somewhat strange that his flying instructor also taught the pilot of Patsy Cline’s plane that fatally crashed on the way back from a performance-irrevocably linked by music together and in tragedy-RIP Patsy and Jim-xx
