The Alcohotlicks Album Launch

The Alcohotlicks, a unique Sydney-based band, are releasing their new album ‘DANAÏDES‘  on August 11 at a very special 505 event. Featuring the talents of guest performers Master of Ribongia and Hello Vera, this promises to be a powerful performance.

The band is comprised of award winning guitarists Aaron Flower and Ben Hauptmaan, along with drummer Evan Mannell. Together they are a powerful collective and separately they have backed artists as varied as Katie Noonan, James Morrison, Beirut and many more.

Having been described in the Sydney Morning Herald as “. . . brilliantly grotesque amalgam of grunge rock and jazz”, the new album brings an electronic shift in the band’s sound with triggered drums and retro synths mixed in with the already unique flavour of jazz.

Prepare for a vibrant performance as The Alcohotlicks returns to the stage after a two year production hiatus at one of Sydney’s best loved creative music venues, Venue 505.
