PantsGuys and Punk Rock – Cat Dibley

In this week’s Something Else show, Julian chatted with Cat Dibley from PantsGuys productions about their current show Punk Rock.

The show is about a group of high school students in England and addresses issues such as bullying, mental health and has been described as ‘The History Boys on Crack’.

Cat’s enthusiasm for theatre and new work came through as she spoke about what it’s like being part of a production company with seven directors, taking shows to the Adelaide Fringe and the importance of theatre for young performers.

“It’s quite a ferocious play… they were really affected by it and commented how true it was to their own lives.” Cat Dibley on High School audience response to Punk Rock.

The play is running at ATYP Under the Wharf and closes this weekend, so book quickly to get in!
