Hat Fitz & Cara – Wiley Ways

Eastside Radio’s Album of the Week is Wiley Ways by Hat Fitz & Cara.

Wiley Ways is the sophomore album from Hat Fitz & Cara after their 2010 debut Beauty & The Beast and the duo have continued to serve up raw and exciting country blues music with a slight Celtic twang throughout.

Like all great blues music should be, Wiley Ways is a highly personable album, as Hat Fitz and Cara share their heart and passion with you through their contrasting vocals – Hat Fitz with his husky gritty growls and Cara with her sweet and dulcet tones. However, perhaps most striking throughout, is the intricate guitar picking and sliding skills from Hat Fitz. The man truly dazzles and has to be considered up there with some of Australia’s finest.

Gently straddling the line between country blues and Celtic folk, the two have a mastered their own original sound that also throws down images of long open roads and old days in the bush. What’s for certain is that Hat Fitz and Cara transport you to a place that’s wild and free!

The two have recently returned from their UK and Ireland Tour and are set to perform at Lizottes on October 11th and Camelot Lounge on October 12th.

Wiley Ways is a release by Only Blues Music. For more information go to hatfitz.net
