dig (Directions In Groove) return to Sydney for one show only at The Basement!

dig (a.k.a. Directions In Groove) present their newest album ‘Clearlight’ as well as other exciting grooves at The Basement on Friday 12th October. This will be dig’s only Sydney performance this year!

The original line-up of Scott Saunders, Tim Rollinson, Alex Hewetson, Rick Robertson and Terepai Richmond is joined by vocalist and co-writer Laura Stitt.

Emerging from Sydney’s happening club scene in the early ’90s, dig is now a multi-award-winning band. They’ve toured Asia, North America and Europe, playing festivals and sharing the stage with the likes of Herbie Hancock, Bootsy Collins and The Roots. dig inspires with their mix of jazz, dance, old school funk and electronica.

Rolling Stone magazine once stated: “dig are the future of Australian music. They know what to do and how to do it.” After great success with their first three albums ‘Deeper’, ‘Speakeasy’ and ‘Curvystrasse’, they now proudly present their new work on ‘Clearlight’.
