Benefit Concert for David Ades at Venue 505

Please show your support for the Australian Jazz Community and come along to the Benefit Concert for music legend David Ades on Thursday the 4th October at Venue 505.

The doors will open at 7.30pm and tickets cost only $20 dollars.

There will be plenty of music of course featuring Steve Elphick, Hamish Stuart, Jeremy Sawkins, Zac Hurren, Matt Keegan, Cameron Undy, Carl Dewhurst, Dave Goodman, John Claire and Jonathon Zwartz to name a few.

Australian saxophone legend Dave Ades was diagnosed this year with advanced lung cancer.

This concert aims to raise funds to help him with the significant cost of treatment. If you would like to support Dave please come along or if you are unable to attend you can donate online at:

Jazz Planet – David Ades Donation

Even when it is a sad occasion we want you to celebrate with us, especially because it is Dave’s birthday the next day.  Apart from enjoying great music you can take home various prizes like CD’s and books and there is also a raffle.
