Abel Cross Quintet – Neo Bop
Released last week on Rufus Records, Abel Cross has created six original be-bop inspired compositions on this album and a great version of the track ‘Broadway’. Originally the Quintet arose from an invitation from Kinetic Jazz to perform at one of their concerts, Neo Bop is the result of their work since then!

MAGNET – MAGNET
A new album from a new project, MAGNET are Melbourne based Stephen Magnusson on guitar, Sergio Beresovsky on drums, Carl Pannuzzo on vocals and Eugene Ball on trumpet. The album is full of expression as the four beautifully blend jazz, world, and folk music. Catch them at 505 on Novemeber 24th!

Nigel Wearne’s Black Crow is set to drop on November 2nd, and for those who are into their blues, country, folk and gypsy music, put that date in your diary now because this one is for you. Nigel is a fantastic guitar picker and his ability to tell a story through his music makes Black Crow so much more than your average country blues release!

The debut album from the California based four piece band is a throwback to 60’s inspired surf rock music with a great spanish touch to much of their sound. Reverbed guitars, vocal harmonies and catchy hooks is the way of the day with the Allah-Las!
