He has now released his debut album under his own name where he has also teamed up with Sean Wayland, Orlando Le Fleming and Greg Hutchinson. The album is jazz music that focuses on melodic development, with Mike Nock quoted as saying ‘It’s another step up for Australian Jazz.’

Another crackerjack release here on Tru Thoughts, The Hot 8 Brass Band are a New Orleans big brass band collective who serve up smoking hot jazz funk which crosses over into soul and hip hop.
