Kristin Beradi Wins the National Jazz Awards at the Wangaratta Festival

Have you ever heard of vocalist Kristin Beradi? If not, then last weekend added another reason to the list of why you definitely should: for Kristin Beradi deservedly won the National Jazz Awards at the Wangaratta Festival of Jazz and Blues. Kristin is no stranger to the musical world of winning having already succeeded at the Montreux Jazz Festival’s International Vocal Competition in 2006 as well as being awarded the Music Council of Australia/Freedman Fellowship only one year later. Just recently her Jazzgroove Mothership Orchestra album was honored as the best vocal album at this year’s Australian Jazz Bell Awards. Sounds like plenty of award winning reasons to allow yourself to be beautifully bewitched by Kristin Beradi’s voice!
