ECLECTIQUE: 09.01.10

The Sheik ignored Sydney Festival’s  requests to put back his return to the mic for another week “cause it’s my mums birthday next week, and she’s not getting any younger” and while it seems the battle for attention may have tipped slightly in favour of Al Green, there was no question that certain people at the domain had “trannies to the ear” and were keen on listening to 35 tracks of music that “started somewhere, then went somewhere else”.  So it’s a “Happy New Year” to you all, and a ‘Happy Birthday Mum”.
