Musical Instruments for Villawood Detention Centre
Today on the show we spoke to Philip Feinstein about his project to deliver musical instruments to refugee centres around Australia.
So far he has been able to secure over five pianos, 30 guitars and other instruments for the
suffering detainees at Villawood, with plans to extend to Nauru.
“I know Australians have big hearts, so my project is now to ask for instruments to be donated to all detention centres, including Christmas Island and Nauru. Many churches, synagogues and other organisations have volunteered as collection drop-off points for the project.”
So dig up your unused instruments and deliver them to your nearest organised drop-off point!
