FM stations aren’t generally the place for personal and professional attacks on hollywood celebrity……..(ahem), but there’s been no love lost between John Travolta and The Sheik over the years “not since he did the film ‘Michael’  “. So last week when The Sheik played something from the ‘Urban Cowboy’ soundtrack there was a slight glimmer of hope that there was a reconcilliation on the horizon. That was until the mic was turned on..”most of the films he has been in have been rubbish, and I haven’t seen it, but you can add “Old Dogs” to that list”.  With a week to “think about it” given by station management, The Sheik thought it was best to play another song from a John Travolta film, this time from the movie ‘Perfect’ with Jamie Lee Curtis, “Yet another rubbish project from the overrated John” . Dear, dear, maybe it’s time to let sleeping ‘old’ dogs lie…..
