I am in awe of the great songwriters of contemporary music that the USA has always had a major production line of-and “doubly awed” when they not only do incredible versions of their own songs BUT nail interpretations of other contemporaries-CaroleKing and James Taylor(pic left) are no exception and how cool is it to be able to interview 9 time Grammy Award nominee,Shawn Colvin(pic right)and play some of her original songs and a couple of cover versions-and the thread to JoniMitchell,Jimmy Web, Rickie Lee Jones and Shania Twain just made a whole lot of good sense and great programming for today’s shows-I will be overseas from today until my show on March 14th and leave you all in the great hands of Phillip James and Miss Virginia Lowe-be well-see you in March-Stu xx
