Bye Bye Alex of “Forever French”

Alex Lassalle, one of the four presenters of Forever French, animated his last show on Eastside Radio Wednesday 23rd January.
Alex joined the Forever French team as a volunteer on September 2011 and has been a great asset to the program since then.
After five years in Australia, Alex finally decided to go back to France and keep working in journalism in Paris.

Forever French‘ is all about music from France and French speaking artists as well as Sydney based French community news.
Alex was THE male voice of the program, enriching its content with his own music preferences and sharing his knowledge of French music with our listeners.
As a passionate of music and culture, he dedicated a lot of his personal time to provide our listeners with new releases and organise interviews with film directors, musicians, singers and artists.
As a professional journalist, Alex contributed a lot to the quality of the many interviews that were broadcasted in the program.
This year, thanks to the whole team’s work and Alex’s contribution, we managed to arrange more than an interview every fortnight… which means quality content on air and as many give aways for Eastside Radio supporters!
Though our listeners could not see Alex enjoying and dancing on the music he was playing in the studio, they surely could feel his passion and good vibes on air.

On behalf of Sandrine, Gabrielle and Emmanuelle (the ‘Forever French’ team):
Thank you Alex for all the work you’ve done and all the good vibes you sent on air. It was a wonderful experience to work with you. We will miss you a lot. Good luck for your new adventure back in Paris… and keep sending us music news from France.”
