The Necks’ only Sydney shows – this week at The Basement!

For the past 25 years, Australian Jazz trio The Necks have been enchanting  audiences with their hypnotic ability to evoke powerful emotions and imagery through their music. They’ll be making their annual Australian tour, stopping off in Sydney for just two days (Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th February) at The Basement.

The Trio is made up of widely acclaimed and seasoned performers Chris Abrahams (piano),  Tony Buck  (drums), and Eastside’s very own Lloyd Swanton (bass). Together they create a movement of sound that shivers through the room, envelopes the audience and challenges: a truly  magical experience.

With a cult following that extends globally, The Necks’ style of music has been described as a “sonic ocean that ebbs and flows and swells into great tidal waves of sound”; the use of drums, percussion, double bass and grand piano blend together to create a style that is truly unique.

These are The Necks’ only two Sydney dates, so don’t miss out! And don’t forget to check out their website HERE
