Fancy Dress parties have never been held in high regard by The Sheik, “unless it’s a Saudi Arabian theme, then it’s alright by me”  but there was two very good reasons to consider passing up regular duties behind the wheel in Studio A at  Eastside FM. For one, it was good friend Virginia’s birthday party. For two, the Fancy Dress theme was ‘Favourite Italian’ . A costume make was begging. “There is no more famous an Italian than Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle ‘Leonardo’ “. But alas, the scissors stayed in the bottom drawer, the bar queue was one man down, and our very own “hero in a half shell” turned up to HQ and treated listeners to these little gems.
