Dancing On Those Pedals!!!

EASTSIDE RADIO IN ASSOCIATION WITH

THE CITY OF SYDNEY AND CENTENNIAL PARKLANDS PRESENTS

THE EAST SIDE RIDE

On Sunday the 21st of April 2013, community radio station Eastside Radio 89.7 FM will host their inaugural East Side Ride.

The East Side Ride is a free community event that encourages activity in the areas of cycling, green living and live music. Located in Centennial Park, the event will play host to stalls and workshops from a wide variety of participants.

Everything from gardening and composts stalls to seed banks and kids edible gardens plus organic food and drinks will be on offer. To find out more about the Green Living area click here

At the cycling hub visitors can Try2Wheels, including electric bikes, watch and learn about rebuilding old bikes and see a bike polo and bike fashion display. To find out more about the Cycling area click here

Providing the soundtrack for the day will be jazz funk gurus Directions In Groove, reggae ska outfit King Tide and jazz songstress Lily Dior as well as local Eastside DJs. To find out more about Live Music on the day click here

By bringing together people from all rides of life the East Side Ride will provide a point of connectivity in an ever-expanding city.
