Money Killed Jonny holds 505 in Cool Hands this Thursday

MKJ NetMoney Killed Jonny are launching their slick new album ‘Cool Hand’ at Venue 505 this Thursday, 18th April.

Describing their style as “psychedelic jazz”, they claim inspiration from the 50s and 60s, yet their music is contemporary, masterfully refashioned for the modern taste.

Steven Robinson, speaks for the band; suitably understated in their approach, he says “I’m not going to waste your time with lengthy bios on how famous we think we are or want to be… But we’ve done stuff, a lot of stuff over a lot of years, and had a bloddy good time. We’re still having a good time.”

With years of experience to their credit and a previously released CD, Money Killed Jonny will bring all the energy they’re known for to Venue 505.avatars-000030794991-da6oqb-crop

(The CD will soon be followed by a vinyl release. ‘Cool Hand’ is currently available at Birdland Records, level 4, 428 George Street Sydney in the Dymocks Arcade.)
