Hoi from Holland

Hello Eastside Radio,

My name is Nadia Nohar and I’m 21 years old. I’m a student from The Netherlands studying Media and Entertainment Management in The Hague. A part of my course is an internship of 5 months and so I chose to do my internship in Sydney at your radio station Eastside FM.

It was always my dream to do my internship abroad; I didn’t have a specific country to go to. I just did some research and I am happy with my decision. So far I have heard a lot of good stories about Australia and I hope to experience some of them. I think this will be one of the best things I will ever do. Right now I have to grow up, be independent, take care of myself, meet other people and stand up for myself. I think life starts when you are out of your comfort zone, when you are in another environment.

What I really hope to learn at Eastside FM are the following things: What sort of company is it? How do they work? What are they representing? Really just about everything to do with Eastside FM. But most importantly, how it is to work in another country then my home! I hope to learn it all in next 5 months and have an amazing time here in Sydney and this great radio station.
