Sounds Of Soul chronicles and playlist (19.04.2013): Sunny Sunday

Patrick Alley2I don’t really know why but I always enjoyed playing records to people, be it in my own living room or as a DJ in a club. It was especially nice to be behind the decks at last Sundays Eastside Ride in the great setting of Centennial Park on such a glorious sunny day that was last Sunday. It’s not often that I’ve got the chance to dj in an open-air environment, in daylight and to a crowd that consisted at least to 50% of dogs. I’m not sure if the pack of 4 dachshunds close to the DJ-booth really enjoyed my set because they commenced digging holes as soon as I started the first record but the rest of my audience seemed quite pleased.
