TV Presenter Richard Morecroft will speak about his experience as a ‘sitter’ for the Archibald in 2011 and speak with an Archibald finalist of 2013. Zoe and the Buttercups are the jazz band that will play into the night. There will also be short talks and a drawing workshop.

Lenny Bruce’s Last Stand (Up)
Throughout the 50’s and 60’s Lenny Bruce was the wild child, pin up boy of rebellion and a very influential stand up. After being banned from numerous clubs across the US, this play by Benito Di Fonzo, follows Bruce’s 13 day Australian Tour. The Rocks Windmill – Bell Shakespeare: Now and Then
As part of the month long Windmill Festival held in the Rocks, Bell Shakespeare’s resident teaching artist, Paul Reichstein, will discuss the company and its home in The Rocks alongside the area’s performance history and theatrical venues. Scenes from the first plays performed in Sydney, including Shakespeare’s Henry IV and Nicholas Rowe’s The Tragedy of Jane Shore, will be read by actors from the company.
