Price Alfred Park Pool Opens (at last!)

Lord Mayor Clover Moore opened Price Alfred Park Pool today on the 13th of May 2013.

Set in the heart of Sydney less than 700 metres from Central train station the park provides a 50 metre heated pool for swimmers of all ages and abilities. As an added bonus this beautiful new facility will have free entry for the six months to thank the public for their patience during construction.

This pool is the City’s first fully accessible, heated outdoor pool, with a ramp into the water ensuring everyone can use it. To enjoy the park to the fullest, the park offers a wide range of programs in and out the water. The facility features are: the 50 metre, 9 lane heated pool,  group bookings and for the kids they have birthday parties and entertainment packages. The café at Prince Alfred Park Pool offers a wide selection of tasty and healthy food options for you and your family. With their open grass area you can enjoy the sunshine after a good swim.

With the views of the city skyline the location is perfect for a break away from the city to recharge your batteries or to relax. So why not take advantage of another City of Sydney success and come along to check it out!
