The Showdown, 3.6.13
John played what he dubbed ‘sexy sax’ courtesy of Junior Walker. Julian had no choice but to respond with Ren & Stimpy’s cautionary tale ‘Don’t Whiz On The Electric Fence’. And so the trouble started. Later, we checked out Mount Kimbie, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Don Ellis and Gil Evans. And reviewed a film that we haven’t seen (Gatsby) – definitely the most entertaining way to do a film review.
